Create mobileAppAssignment

Note: Using the Microsoft Graph APIs to configure Intune controls and policies still requires that the Intune service is correctly licensed by the customer.

Create a new mobileAppAssignment object.

Prerequisites

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Permission type Permissions (from most to least privileged)
Delegated (work or school account) DeviceManagementApps.ReadWrite.All
Delegated (personal Microsoft account) Not supported.
Application Not supported.

Request body

In the request body, supply a JSON representation for the mobileAppAssignment object.

The following table shows the properties that are required when you create the mobileAppAssignment.

Property Type Description
id String Key of the entity.
intent installIntent The install intent defined by the admin. Possible values are: available, required, uninstall, availableWithoutEnrollment.
target deviceAndAppManagementAssignmentTarget The target group assignment defined by the admin.
settings mobileAppAssignmentSettings The settings for target assignment defined by the admin.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 201 Created response code and a mobileAppAssignment object in the response body.
