Caution

The Outlook tasks API is deprecated and will stop returning data on August 20, 2022. Please use the new To Do API. For more information, see To Do APIs in public preview.

Use this API to add an attachment to an outlookTask. The attachment can be a file (of fileAttachment type) or Outlook item (itemAttachment type).

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. For details about delegated and application permissions, see Permission types. To learn more about these permissions, see the permissions reference.

In the request body, supply a JSON representation of attachment object.

Response

If successful, this method returns 201 Created response code and attachment object in the response body.
