Segments are the collection of contacts you target in a marketing campaign. Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Data works with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys segments and assists with creating advanced segment definitions and customer analytics.

To view segment insights, go to Marketing > Customers > Segments, select a segment record, and then open the Insights tab. You can see how the membership of your selected segment has changed over time.
