Access discovery at the top of your educator admin

Select your avatar and navigate to Discovery from the dropdown menu.

You can search for topics based on audience, subject, or keyword. Once you have found a topic you want to use with your students, select Add Topic and choose which group you want to host the topic.

When you select a topic, it becomes editable so that you can have it perfectly suit your needs. You can add/change/update any element of the topic in order to personalize the content for your classroom.

You can edit every aspect of the topic and customize settings such as video response length, video moderation, topic attachments, features, and more! When you're ready to engage your learners, just flip the switch from inactive to active, and you're ready to roll!

Share with the community: Create your own Discovery Topics!

By contributing to the Discovery Library, you’re helping your fellow educators learn unique ways to implement Flip as they seek to transform learning and amplify student voice! And because you're sharing only the topic template (and none of your student content), you're free to share to your heart's content.

In order to submit topics to the Discovery Library:

  1. Sign in to your Educator Admin Dashboard to find the topic you wish to share.
    1. Select the ellipses next to the Topic and choose Submit to Discovery.
  2. Add topic discovery details.
    1. Choose your community and subject.
    2. Add integration notes so that your fellow educators understand how best to use the topic you shared. Include details, tips, tricks, and any information you think would be helpful to your colleagues. Additional supporting resources can be added as links for the educator to explore with the topic.
    3. Make any necessary changes to the title, description and topic media.
  3. Submit to Discovery. Allow 48 hours for topic to be approved.
