Add content in channels with apps and tabs

Completed

Apps allow educators to find content from their favorite services and share it directly in Teams, enabling them to pin services at the top of a channel, chat with bots, share and assign tasks, and more. It is important to note that all apps in the store are managed by IT.

Lots of planning goes into developing a new course of study. There will be deadlines to meet and the project will be broken down into segments. Using an app called Planner will go a long way to ensure all tasks get delegated and completed on time. A perfect solution. As the owner of the Team, an educator can then monitor progress easily.

OR

We elected to use the Anyone Team type for our department and we need to have OneNote available for Team members. Selecting + (Add a tab) in the tabs of any chosen channel, we can easily add a OneNote for all members to collaborate.

Now, you are ready to assign your first "To do"!

Apps and tabs

With every new channel, two tabs are provisioned by default: chat and files. Owners and team members can add more tabs to a channel by selecting + (Add a tab) at the top of the channel. Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF files must be uploaded to the files tab before they can be converted to tabs. Any existing uploaded file can be converted to a tab with a single button. To add a website, the URL must start with an “https://” prefix to ensure information that is exchanged remains secure.

Practice adding an app to the team. How can adding a website, document, or spreadsheet within the Team space increase efficiency?
