Exercise - Create a new Store Commerce for web register and device for a store

You are the System administrator of your organization and, due to a store expansion, you need to create a new register and device for the Houston store.

  1. In the USRT company, go to Retail and Commerce > Channel setup > POS setup > Registers.
  2. Select New.
  3. In the Register number field, enter HOUSTON-39.
  4. In the Name field, enter HOUSTON – Register 39.
  5. In the Store number field, select HOUSTON.
  6. In the Hardware profile field, enter HW002.
  7. In the Visual profile field, enter F3MP.
  8. In the Action Pane, select Configuration status.
  9. Select Approve all.
  10. Select Update.
  11. Go to Retail and Commerce > Channel setup > POS setup > Devices.
  12. Select New.
  13. In the Device ID field, enter HOUSTON-39.
  14. In the Application type field, select Retail Cloud POS.
  15. In the Register number field, select HOUSTON-39.
