Define a handling cost to be considered when DOM calculates fulfillment recommendations.

Your company needs to specify that the handling cost in each store is one USD, and the handling cost in the distribution centers is 0.10 USD. This handling cost will be valid until the end of year 2020, after which new handling costs will be defined.

  1. In the company USRT, go to Retail and Commerce > Distributed order management > Setup > Cost configuration.
  2. Select New.
  3. In the Cost factor field, enter Handling cost.
  4. In the Description field, enter Handling cost.
  5. In the Cost type field, select Other.
  6. In the Other cost type field, select Location.
  7. In the End date field, enter 31 December 2020.
  8. In the Location based calculation criteria tab, select Add.
  9. In the Fulfillment group field, select All stores.
  10. In the Cost field, enter 1.00.
  11. In the Fulfillment group field, select All DCs.
  12. In the Cost field, enter 0.10.
  13. Set the Active field to Yes.
