Build an app using data
The example above learned you how to start and build a canvas app from a template in Power Apps. Another way to build an app, is to start from your data. To do this, simply point Power Apps at the data source of your choice.
For example, point to one of the offered tables in Business Central, and watch as Power Apps automatically builds a three-screen app. This three-screen app lets you display, edit, delete, and create records.
If you start with this example in Power Apps, connect to Business Central and create the canvas app based on a list of items in Business Central. In this app, you can browse all items, show details of a single item, and create, update, or delete an item. Before you start, first sign in to Power Apps and watch the following demonstration on how to create an app based on Business Central data.
