Share Business Central custom connector across the organization

Completed

Now that you have a custom connector for your Business Central custom API, you might want to enable other people to use it. People within your organization can use the custom connector just like they use other Microsoft-managed connectors.

Share in Power Apps and Power Automate

By default, custom connectors in Power Apps and Power Automate aren't available to other users. You can share them directly, and they are also shared if you share an app or create a team flow that uses the connector.

It is important to know that when using these sharing methods, you can only share your custom connector across your organization.

If you want to share custom connector directly, you can launch Power Apps or Power Automate and in the navigation pane, select Data > Custom connectors. Select the ellipsis button for your connector, and then select Invite another user.

On the Share tab, under Add people, enter the users or groups that you want to share with. Select a permission from following options: Can view, Can view + share, or Can edit. Finally, click Save.

If you want to share your custom connector across your whole organization, you don't need to add person by person. Instead of that, you can click on Share with org and share the connector with everybody in the organization. In this case, you can't choose a permission as you only can select Can view. Click Save to finish.

Share in Logic Apps

Custom connectors in Logic Apps are visible and available to the connector's author and users who have the same Azure Active Directory tenant and Azure subscription for logic apps in the region where those apps are deployed. Because of that, you don't need to do anything additionally to share them.

Submit your connector for Microsoft certification

If you want to share a custom connector with users outside your organization, you must submit your connector for Microsoft certification to make it publicly available. This will not be automatically approved, as Microsoft will review the connector and only approve it for publishing when it meets all certification criteria. See Submit your connector for Microsoft certification for additional information on this process.
