Custom-trained machine translation system
Dynamics 365 Translation Service uses machine translation models that are customized with terminologies from Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, to improve the quality of translations. These machine translation models are available for Microsoft General Availability (GA) languages and are trained with over 170,000 translation units. A translation unit typically contains a source string, translation, state, state qualifier, and note.
When submitting a translation request, you can create a custom machine translation model based on the translation memory you uploaded. Translation service will then create a custom machine translation model specific to your translation request. While these requests take longer to process, they can result in more accurate translations in some situations. You may use this option for both GA and non-GA languages. However, your translation memory must have more than 10,000 translation units, and the source or target language must be English (United States).
