You can use the Entity Store to perform basic reporting and data analysis. To access data in Finance and operations apps from outside of the system, you can also connect into your own Microsoft Azure SQL database with Bring Your Own Database (BYOD).
In this module, you will learn about what types of considerations are needed before you invest time and effort in BYOD and the way to create and manage custom data sources for BYOD. Both options will allow data analytics and reports, but it is important to understand the uses, options, and needs of each option for your business.
