Exercise - Create a new main account

Use the USMF company account in the Contoso demo data set to create a new main account:

  1. Go to General ledger > Chart of accounts > Accounts > Main accounts.

  2. Select New.

  3. In the Main account field, enter 110155.

  4. In the Name field, enter Bank account- USMF.

  5. In the Main account type field, select Asset.

  6. In the Main account category field, select CASH.

  7. In DB/CR default, select Debit.

  8. Expand the Legal entity overrides FastTab and then select Add.

  9. Select USMF > Add.

  10. Select Save.
