Get to know the item master data
Item records are master data for the entire logistical flow in Business Central. These records are at the center of all selling and buying processes. To facilitate all these processes, the Item Card page holds a wide range of information organized in fast tabs.
You’ll find your core information such as item number, description, type, base unit of measure, costing method, posting groups, unit price, and vendor in the record. More advanced information related to item tracking, warehousing, and replenishment also is provided.
