Exercise - Update the maintenance schedule

You have been asked to adjust the maintenance schedule. You need to remove one item that is scheduled for maintenance, change the start date of another item that is scheduled for maintenance, and create a work order for a few other items.

  1. Go to Asset management > Common > Maintenance schedule > All maintenance schedule.
  2. Select the three lines that are scheduled to start on 18 August 2019.
  3. In the Maintain section in the Action Pane, select Discard.
  4. In the Discard asset schedule dialog box, select OK.
  5. Select the line that is scheduled to start on 18 August 2019.
  6. In the Maintain section in the Action Pane, select Adjust schedule.
  7. In the Adjust selected maintenance schedule lines dialog box, change the New expected start to 25 August 2019.
  8. Select OK.
  9. Select all lines with an expected start of 1 September 2019.
  10. In the New group in the Action Pane, select Work order.
  11. In the Create work orders dialog box, select ONE WORK ORDER PER LINE.
  12. Select OK.
