Exercise - Remove damaged speakers from the inventory
The Warehouse Reclassification Journals enable you to perform changes after the goods have been placed on a bin. You can move items between zones and bins with the reclassification journal, but you can also use it to reclassify item tracking information like serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
To move items with the Warehouse Reclassification Journals, follow these steps:
Select the Search for page icon in the upper-right corner of the page, enter warehouse reclassification journals, and then select the related link.
On a new line, enter the registering date, which is the date that the items are moved.
Select the item in the Item No. field.
Select the From Zone Code and From Bin Code to specify from where the item should be moved. You can check the item bin content by selecting Navigate > Item > Bin Contents.
In the To Zone Code and To Bin Code fields, specify where the item should be moved to.
When the items are moved, you can register the journal. The program has made a movement between two bins within the warehouse without using the movement worksheet. This information can be found in the warehouse entries.
