Step 4. Creating the User Account Primary Address

You establish the primary address for the user on the Myaccount.aspx page. This page records the shipping and billing addresses to be used for user transactions. To view the myaccount.aspx page, click Personal Information in the navigation control located on the left panel.

Use the following procedure to create a primary shipping/billing address.

To create a primary shipping/billing address

  1. On the Myaccount.aspx page, do the following:
    Use this To do this
    First name Type John.
    Last name Type Doe.
    E-mail address This box contains the e-mail address that you entered on the Login.aspx page.
    Telephone Type 425-555-1212.
    Fax Leave this box blank.
    Zip Code Type 98052.
    Country The country/region shown is determined by the locale you selected when you entered the site. If you clicked the U.S. flag, this value is set to United States.
    Address 1 Type 1 Microsoft Way.
    Address 2 Leave this box blank.
    City Type Redmond.
    State Select Washington from the drop-down list.
  2. Click Save.

The data you entered is saved in the <Retail2002_site>_commerce**database.
