Step 4: Configure Log On Locally User Rights on Computer 2

To allow domain users to log on to the Supplier Solution Site, you should configure log on locally user rights on computer 2.

To configure log on locally user rights

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Local Security Policy.
  2. In Local Security Settings screen, expand Security Settings, expand Local Policies, and then click User Rights Assignment.
  3. In the Policy pane, double-click Log on locally.
  4. In Security Policy Setting dialog box, select the Define these policy settings check box, and then click Add.
  5. In the Add user or group pane, click Browse.
  6. In Select Users or Groups, select the domain from the Look in drop-down list.
  7. Under Name, select Domain Users, click Add, and then click OK.
  8. In Add user or group, click OK.
  9. In Security Policy Setting, click OK.

You have now configured log on locally user rights for the Domain Users account. Continue to Step 5: Install Server Software on Computer 2.
