Step 3: Enable Trust Delegation on Computer 1

On Computer 1, enable trust delegation for Computer 2 so that Commerce Server administrators can store user credentials on the Active Directory domain controller (Computer 1).

To enable trust delegation

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers Manager.
  2. In the left pane, expand <domain name>, and then click Computers.
  3. In the right pane, right-click the computer name for Computer 2, and then click Properties.
  4. In the <computer name> Properties dialog box, on the General tab, check the Trust computer for delegation check box. The Active Directory warning message appears.
  5. Read the warning message, and then click OK.
  6. In the <computer name> Properties dialog box, click OK.
  7. Computer 2 is now trusted by the Active Directory domain controller (Computer 1). Continue to Step 4: Configure Log On Locally User Rights on Computer 1.
