Money: Remove or install the MSN Money Investment Toolbox

If you're having trouble with the MSN Money Investment Toolbox (which includes tools for the MSN Money Portfolio Manager, Deluxe Charts, and the Deluxe Screener), try removing and then reinstalling the Investment Toolbox.

Remove the MSN Money Investment Toolbox

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.

  2. If you see the Pick a task page, click Remove a program.

  3. In the Currently installed programs list, click MSN Money Investment Toolbox, and then click Change/Remove.

Note

These steps will not remove any of your information from the Portfolio Manager.

Reinstall the MSN Money Investment Toolbox

  1. Go to the MSN Money Investment Toolbox download page.

  2. Click MSN Money Investment Toolbox.

  3. The installation begins automatically. If you are asked if you want to install and run MSN Money Client Controls, click Yes.

  4. When a chart with red bars appears, click I See the Chart.

Note

Installing the MSN Money Investment Toolbox installs ActiveX controls and other features you can use in the Portfolio Manager, Charts, and the Stock and Fund Screeners.
