Machine States

Communicator-defined machine states are shown in the following table.

The user has not actively used the machine for a period of time since the state changed to Inactive. The duration can be configured by a client. The default value is client-specific. Communicator sets the duration to 15 minutes by default. The default value for a user state to change from last Active to Away is 20 minutes. |

If interoperability with Communicator is desired or required, your client must not change the semantics of these machine state values.
