User States

User states describe user's current availability and activity. In the enhanced presence system, user availability is described by a range of numerical values describing the user's willingness and ability to communicate, whereas the activity is described by a string.
User Availability
Communicator-defined user availability appears in the following table. The value column shows the representative value Communicator uses to display the availability value range.

User Activities
A user activity string further qualifies the user's availability. In Office Communicator the activity of an aggregated state is shown next to the user's name, Communicator-defined activity strings appear in the following table.
