Turning Remote Access on or off

You can turn Windows® Home Server Remote Access on or off on the Remote Access page of Windows Home Server Settings.

By default, Remote Access is turned off. This means that you cannot connect to your Windows Home Server Web site, including your Remote Access Web site.

To turn Remote Access on or off

  1. On the Windows Home Server Console, click Settings.

  2. On Windows Home Server Settings, click Remote Access.

  3. In Remote Access, on the details pane, click Turn On or Turn Off.
