Example: Integrated Resource Discovery and Inventory

This example shows you a simple, integrated solution for resource discovery and inventory, using a carpool service. The example uses discovery data records (DDRs) to discover carpool resources and IDMIFs to report carpool inventory and track service records. In addition, the example uses console queries to create visibility of the resource discovery data in the SMS Administrator console and adds the inventory data to the Resource Explorer using the SMS_PropertyDisplayNode class.
