Set Camera options

You can use the options on the Camera tab to determine which camera to use for video capture to configure the camera settings.

To set Camera options

  1. In the Microsoft Expression Encoder Screen Capture main window, click Edit options Edit Options button..

  2. Set the Camera options according to the following descriptions:

    • Webcam menu   Select this option to specify which camera to use for video capture. By default, this box reads Do not use webcam. Leave the setting at the default value if you will not be using a webcam for capture.

    • Capture Setting   Click this button to set your camera's capture options. These options will vary depending on which camera model you have connected. Consult your camera's Help file for information about setting these options.

    • Camera Setting   Click this button to set your camera's imaging options. These options will vary depending on which camera model you have connected. Consult your camera's Help file for information about setting these options.

    • Bitrate   Select this option to specify the bit rate for your video stream.
