TI OMAP5912 Aruba Board Development Kit Performance Considerations

Note the following TI OMAP5912 Aruba Board hardware limitations:

  • The card-detect (MPUIO1) and write-protect (MPUIO2) pins of the SD/MMC slot in Rev. 1.1 are incorrect on the board level. This makes it impossible to know whether the card is locked by hardware. The SDHC driver must poll to detect card insertion.
  • There is no Ethernet support in the TI OMAP5912 Aruba Board. Use Remote NIDS through USB to connect to the development workstation.
  • There is no VGA, LCD, mouse, or keyboard support in the TI OMAP5912 Aruba Board. Use remote display through VMINI to display and receive input from the development workstation.
