Clears all device input that has been buffered.

Remarks

Any data events or input error events that were queued by the service object– usually waiting for the DataEventEnabled property to be set to true and the FreezeEvents property to be set to false, are also cleared.

The ClearInput property may cause a PosControlException exception to be thrown with the following ErrorCode:

Claimed

The device is claimed by another process.

NotClaimed

The device must be claimed before ClearInput can be used.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread-safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread-safe.
