Add Server Dialog Box
Applies To: Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista
Use the Add Servers dialog box to add one or more servers to the server farm.
UI Elements
Element Name | Description |

Server Address |
Displays the server name or server IP address that you want to add. You can add multiple servers before closing the dialog box. Note that IPv6 is not supported. |
Online |
Select this option to mark the specified server as active. Requests are routed to active servers only. By default, this option is enabled. |
Advanced Settings |
Displays the advanced settings for your server(s) where you can further configure HTTP port, HTTPS port, and the weight. |
Server Address (table) |
Lists the servers that are included in the server farm to which you are adding a new server. |
Status (table) |
Lists the status of the specified servers, which can be either Online or Offline. |
Add |
Verifies that the server you entered is unique, and then adds the server to the server farm. The server will appear in the table of servers. |
Remove |
Removes the selected server from the list of servers. |
