3D View (Monitor and Playback)

The 3D view contains the following controls:

  • View Controls
  • Image Controls
  • View Settings

View Controls

Control Function Description
View Mode Displays the view mode and data source.
Settings Displays the 3D view settings.
Default view Displays the default view orientation.
Front View Displays the front view orientation.
Left view Displays the left view orientation.
Top view Displays the top view orientation.
Zoom out Decreases the zoom factor.
Zoom in Increases the zoom factor.

Note

For the Monitor 3D View, the view mode indicates: MONITOR: NONE when disconnected or MONITOR: LIVE monitoring live sensor streams. For the Playback 3D View, the view mode indicates: INSPECT: NONE when no file is open or INSPECT: FILE when inspecting or playing the file.

Image Controls

Displays three-dimensional (spatial) image data.

Control Function Description
Settings Brings up the view settings.
Front view Displays the front view orientation.
Left view Displays the left view orientation.
Top view Displays the top view orientation.
Zoom in Increases the zoom factor.
  Zoom out Decreases the zoom factor.

Note

Rotate the view by dragging over the 3D image. 'Dolly’ the view by dragging over the 3D image while holding down the shift key. Pan by using the mouse wheel while holding down the Shift key. Zoom in or out by using the mouse wheel while holding down the Ctrl key. When the orientation cube under the accessories render plug-in is enabled, the 3D orientation indicator cube in the upper right of the window shows the current orientation.

View Settings
