- Lesson 2 – Describe security management capabilities of Azure
- Lesson 3 – Describe security capabilities of Microsoft Sentinel
- Lesson 4 – Describe threat protection with Microsoft Defender XDR
Module 3 Tips and Tricks
- Practice the demos several times before you start the class to ensure you're familiar with the content; we're working in the cloud and the portal might change or new settings may be added
- Describe the difference between network security groups (NSG) and firewall and distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection
- Consider using a whiteboard or diagram to describe a scenario to help learners understand these concepts
- Explain the different marks of Defender services including endpoints, applications, and identities
Module 3 Demos
- Demo 3.1: Azure network security groups (NSG)
- Demo 3.2: Microsoft Defender for the cloud
- Demo 3.3: Microsoft Sentinel
- Demo 3.4: Microsoft Defender for cloud apps
- Demo 3.5: The Microsoft Defender portal
Module 3 Labs (optional)
- The lab instructions are provided in the lab environment and in the SC-900 Microsoft Learning GitHub repository
