Gradl font family

We have called this face Gradl because it was one of many hand-drawn cap alphabets made by M. J. Gradl. The Font Bureau added the lower-case alphabet and numerals in the style we felt Gradl might have followed. Gradl started as a hand-drawn alphabet, and we've resisted the temptation to smooth it out. There are already quite enough of the mechanical designs that the computer can so easily duplicate. For a hand-drawn flavor, try Gradl.
