Prerequisites
To start building images, you'll have to have a few things available on your technician PC:
Required:
- Enable Hyper-V
- Windows ADK and WinPE add-ons installed
- Windows installation media
Optional, depending on your customizations:
- Language pack ISO
- Feature on Demand ISO
- Microsoft Security Compliance Toolkit
- Azure IoT Edge for Linux on Windows (EFLOW)
When you run Edge Device Image Builder, we'll check to make sure your setup and ensure it has everything you need.
