Un utente UserName di appartenenza viene usato insieme alla password dell'utente di appartenenza per autenticare l'utente di appartenenza.
L'oggetto UserName di un MembershipUser identifica un utente univoco per ogni applicazione che usa Membership per l'autenticazione. Un'applicazione viene identificata dall'appartenenza ApplicationName. Lo stesso nome utente può essere usato in più applicazioni per utenti diversi. In alternativa, un singolo nome utente può essere usato per identificare un utente per più applicazioni, a condizione che le applicazioni siano configurate con lo stesso ApplicationName.
È possibile recuperare un MembershipUser oggetto per un utente di appartenenza passando il nome utente a uno degli overload del GetUser metodo o come membro di un MembershipUserCollection oggetto restituito da GetAllUsers, o dal metodo , FindUsersByNameo FindUsersByEmail .
È possibile recuperare il nome utente per un utente di appartenenza se l'indirizzo di posta elettronica per l'utente è noto usando il GetUserNameByEmail metodo .
