Questo metodo viene chiamato su un controllo per consentire il caricamento di dati personalizzati in se stesso. Può anche restituire un valore che indica se lo stato personalizzato di un controllo deve essere riscritto nell'archivio dati sottostante, indipendentemente dal fatto che nella pagina siano stati modificati altri dati di personalizzazione. Un controllo può impostare le proprie proprietà personalizzate ed eseguire logica interna aggiuntiva in base ai valori contenuti nel dizionario di personalizzazione. Questo metodo viene chiamato dal set di controlli Web part durante l'applicazione dei dati di personalizzazione a un controllo .
È anche necessario tenere presente il comportamento di unione delle Userproprietà con ambito Sharede con ambito contenute nell'oggetto PersonalizationDictionary . Il state parametro contiene una rappresentazione unita di dati personalizzati caricati dall'archivio dati sottostante. Nell'ambito Shared , tutti i valori aggiunti in precedenza quando la pagina stessa era nell'ambito Shared sarebbe disponibile. Nell'ambito User , se un valore associato User all'ambito di personalizzazione aveva un valore aggiunto quando la pagina era nell'ambito Shared e un valore diverso quando la pagina era nell'ambito User , l'infrastruttura di personalizzazione includeva solo il Uservalore con ambito (anziché il Shared valore di ambito) all'interno del state parametro .
