L'evento SelectionChangeCommitted viene generato solo quando l'utente modifica la selezione della casella combinata e è possibile creare un gestore per questo evento per fornire una gestione speciale per ComboBox l'utente quando l'utente modifica l'elemento selezionato nell'elenco. Tuttavia, a seconda della ComboBox modalità di configurazione e del modo in cui l'utente modifica l'elemento selezionato, l'evento SelectionChangeCommitted potrebbe non essere generato.
