Note

To use the SQLServer session state mode, you must run the InstallSqlState.sql SQL script (which is installed in [drive:]\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\VersionNumber as part of the default .NET Framework installation) on the computer running SQL Server that will store the session state. This creates a database called ASPState with new stored procedures and creates new ASPStateTempApplications and ASPStateTempSessions tables in the TempDB database.
