Poznámky

Objekt, který nemá žádnou korelaci mezi svým stavem a hodnotou hash kódu, by se obvykle neměl používat jako klíč. Například String objekty jsou lepší než StringBuilder objekty pro použití jako klíče.

Klíč nemůže být null, ale hodnota může.

Vlastnost můžete také použít Item[] k přidání nových prvků nastavením hodnoty klíče, který v objektu HybridDictionaryneexistuje, myCollection["myNonexistentKey"] = myValuenapříklad . Pokud však zadaný klíč již existuje v HybridDictionary, nastavení Item[] vlastnosti přepíše starou hodnotu. Naproti tomu Add metoda neupravuje existující prvky.

Když se počet prvků stane větší než optimální velikost pro ListDictionary, elementy se zkopírují z hodnoty ListDictionary do Hashtable. K tomu však dochází pouze jednou. Pokud je kolekce již uložena Hashtable v souboru a počet prvků klesne pod optimální velikost pro ListDictionary, zůstane kolekce v souboru Hashtable.

Tato metoda je operace O(1).
