Visual C++ vc_runtimeminimum_x64.msi Error

When trying to uninstall Visual C++ I get the following error:

18936-ctroubleshoot.jpg

Here are the remaining versions of Visual C++ on my device:

When trying to install the latest Visual C++ I get this error:

18897-ctroubleshoot3.jpg

I attempted to use the Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter from Microsoft, but the download link is broken. How can I proceed? I need to fix this issue in order to install the newest AMD graphics drivers on my device. Thanks!

For the first error message, does this VC_redist.x86.exe exists or not?
According to the error message, it seems the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable is corrupted on your computer, please try to download the Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 and run it to repair. If it works fine, then install the latest Visual C++ again.

Both the x86 and x64 versions failed to install because I already have it installed on my device.

Have you tried the suggestion that I shared yesterday? We can try to use the msiinv.exe tool to fetch the product code then run the msiexex /x <product code> to uninstall the Visual C++ redistributable.

The Program Install and Uninstall troubleshooter has been discontinued, instead, you can upgrade to Windows 10 and get troubleshooters that are built right in, for more detail information, please check this.

Thanks for your update, do you means download the installer to repair, this issue persists, right?
Please try to follow this doc and download the msiinv.exe to get the product code of the Visual C++ redistrbutable and then running msiexec /x <product code> to forcibly uninstall the product. If it works, retry this installation again.

After running the msiinv.exe tool and locating the product code for Visual C++ Redistributable, I was still not able to uninstall it using the msiexec commands.

Following that, the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility no longer exists.

Thanks for your confirmation, please try to remove all references to 14.16.27024 from registry editor: (Please back up the registry table before this remove action)
1.Opening your registry editor, click on Computer, then select Edit->Find, search ‘14.16.27024’ and remove the registry key with ‘14.16.27024’ from the left.
2.After deleting one, select Edit->Find Next to delete all references to 14.16.27024 until you see this message “Finished searching through the registry.”
Please let us known if this helps resolve your issue.

Hi!
I would suggest liking MFC and VC++ Runtimes statically. This will eliminate the need to install them each time and make your app more compatible.

I had the exact same problem that's why i'm trying to help all those mates that run into this problem. I found the solution elsewhere. It said to
Fix problems that block programs from being installed or removed
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17588/windows-fix-problems-that-block-programs-being-installed-or-removed
download troubleshooter button on the link.
Run it - choose option - have problem with installing - it lists programs - choose the missing / problematic visual c++ runtimes in the list
it will run and get fixed.
Repeat for each visual c++ you having problems with. I ran the program multiple times.

Thank you very much! My friend had that problem for over half year now. This finally solved the issue. Was the only solution that worked for him. Just uninstalled the 4 problematic c++ runtime versions and now everything is working fine.
