  The Microsoft .NET Framework 1.0 Service Pack 3 is available in nearly every language but French. Is there a French version available somewhere?

  Unfortunately when you follow the link for the 1.1 framework SP1 update, and then click on the link for the Knowledge Base article to see what was fixed... the article doesn't exist.

  I tried installing it, but I am not sure if it succeeded (there was no status at the end of the installation).
  I tried running the install again, but got an error message saying that it couldn't find its msi file.
  Does anyone know how to check if SP1 has been properly installed?

  Ah, the KB link is now working which led me to an article describing how to check the .Net version.
  Unfortunately, the SP1 intaller must have failed on my machine as I am still running plain old 1.1. Strangely, the installer didn't come up with any error messages. It just quit when the progress bar was at about 90%.
  Oh well... I hope, I can get the upgrade later through Windows Update or something.
