Introduction to Azure Migrate for server migration
Considering moving your on-premises VMware or Hyper-V server workloads to Azure infrastructure as a service (IaaS)? Azure Migrate guides you in discovering and assessing your Windows and Linux VMs, exposes app dependencies, makes virtual machine sizing recommendations, and migrates your workloads at scale. Unlike previous versions of Azure Migrate or Azure Site Recovery, the process now allows for discovery, assessment, and agentless migration, all within the hub.

Azure Hybrid Benefit and Extended Security Updates
By using the Azure Hybrid Benefit for Windows Server, you can use your existing Windows Server licenses in Azure and lower your virtual machine infrastructure costs by up to 49%. If you're still running Windows Server 2008 R2 VMs, moving them to Azure will also give you Extended Security Updates for your Azure hosted servers until 2023.
