Windows Server, version 2004 will reach the end of servicing on December 14, 2021. This applies to the following editions of Windows Server released in May of 2020:

  • Windows Server Datacenter, version 2004
  • Windows Server Standard, version 2004

These editions will no longer receive security updates after December 14, 2021. Customers who contact Microsoft Support after this date will be directed to update their device to the latest version of Windows Server to remain supported.
