To enroll in the Cloud Solution Provider program, you first need an MPN ID. Don’t have one yet? Join here.
When you fill out the CSP application, you will need your MPN ID, complete business address, bank information, and the work email for the employee who will act as the admin for the Partner Dashboard.
Decide which CSP model works for you and complete the application.
It can take us several days to review and verify the information you’ve provided. We’ll email you when we’ve completed our review.
A CSP partner cannot resell online services to another CSP partner, currently. This restriction only appies to the tenant used for conducting CSP transactions. CSP partners who use a non-csp tenant for their corporate useage can puchase online services from another CSP partner. Microsoft continuously reviews policies and capabilites of all programs. Any news about feature releases will be announced through the usual communications channels including the Partner Dashboard.
Enroll as an indirect reseller
Once you have enrolled as an indirect reseller, you need to find an indirect provider to work with. The provider you work with will send customers your way, will manage software purchases that you can sell, and take care of customer billing and support, allowing you to focus on building your reseller business.
Your global admin should set up your account in the Partner Dashboard. The global admin can add your organization’s employees who will be working in the Partner Dashboard, assign them roles and permissions depending on what work they will be doing, and set up the organization profile.
Your employees will receive an email with their temporary passwords. They should sign into the Partner Dashboard and change their password. They can then start working.
The employee assigned the role of business profile admin should set up your business profile so that you can receive referrals for customers.
Enroll as a direct partner
We are in the process of updating our direct partner enrollment requirements and are currently not accepting new applications. We plan to reopen the application process starting August 31st. Please consider enrolling as an Indirect Reseller.
As a direct partner, you own the end-to-end relationship with your customer and with Microsoft.
Once you have enrolled and met the acceptance criteria as a direct partner, your global admin can set up your account, add employees, assign them roles and permissions according to their work, and set up the organization profile.
If you have been working with customers who you want to continue to work with through the Partner Dashboard, you will need to associate them to your account in the Partner Dashboard. Microsoft can then connect your billing and invoicing to them.

Your geographic location determines the currency in which you are billed, as shown in the following table. Note that due to tax and legal implications, if you want to use a different billing currency, you'll need to create a new tenant and specify that currency.
