KB5003217 OS settings cannot be opened

Win 10 LTSC 1809, update to this KB5003217, the setting cannot be opened, it will cause a crash. remove this KB5003217, the setting can be opened and used normally, is there any abnormality in this KB file??, or there are other ways to eliminate it?

    I check the May 20, 2021-KB5003217 (OS Build 17763.1971) Preview website, KB article doesn’t mentioned settings app crash or hand issue.

    Maybe this KB has some compatibility issue on your software, try to clean boot computer to check result.
    Also, you could switch to another user account for test.

    If issue still exits, uninstall KB5003217 and wait for the next update.

    Hello, good morning.
    I have the same problem, and it affects five computers. You are installed the update KB5003217, but when some time passed Windows reinstall it automatically. Let's see if there is a way to stop this update from being installed.

    I have this problem too on ltsc. I uninstall it and settings menu work, but this update setup automatic again....

    Are there any news on this issue. I delayed Windows Updates for 7 days, hoping that a fix will then be available. The Update is now coming back and screwing up ability to print, open OS settings, install printers ...
    Over 100 machines are affected by this issue right now. Please, somebody @Microsoft ... fix this issue, it is really a mess right now!!

    Thanks for the info Distagon. Does anybody know the exact KB number? These machines are currently running Win 10 ltsc, Build 1809. I know that this is not really an up to date build, but that's the way it is right now. Again, thanks for the info.
